What you'll be doing

You will be joining the Business Management Office within Technology Operations (TO). In this role, you will provide support and consultation to the TO Senior Vice President from a Business Management perspective. This entails leading and planning employee engagement events (i.e. Town Halls, Leaders Forums, Employee Appreciation Week activities), preparing communications (emails, Workplace posts, speakers' notes), getting involved in TO's strategic planning, employee survey results action planning, etc. In this role, you will also be the main point of contact when it comes to creating, consolidating and providing input into various management-level reports (i.e. providing TO accomplishments to be submitted to the Board).

Who you are

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Management, Communications or Reporting role.

  • It is an asset if you have IT knowledge.

  • You have excellent abilities to manage stakeholders and having strong oral and written communication skills is a must.

  • You have highly organized, detail-oriented and have experience leading and planning events for groups of 500+ people

  • You're an analytical thinker and have the ability to make informed and data-driven decisions.

  • You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information.

  • You're confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way.

  • You have the ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, or activities. Effective judgment in prioritizing and time allocation.

  • You understand the power of an inclusive team that enjoys working together to create a shared vision.
