DescriptionThe People and Culture Team at Verily (PACT) is looking for a seasoned Compensation Analyst for the PACT team. As a Senior Compensation Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our talent management by aligning compensation strategies with business goals. Your creative thinking will enhance our unique offerings in salary, bonus, equity, and total rewards. You will lead in the implementing and evolving our sales compensation programs. Utilizing data and industry research, you'll make informed decisions, collaborating with key stakeholders and Finance to manage global accruals and equity plans.
ResponsibilitiesLead the Annual Planning Cycle: Own the end-to-end execution of the global annual compensation planning process (merit, bonus, equity), continuously evaluating program effectiveness and recommending strategic enhancements.
Drive Market Competitiveness: Conduct in-depth benchmarking and competitive analysis, overseeing participation in salary surveys and managing key vendor tools to inform and ensure our total rewards strategy remains P75-aligned.
Design and Govern Core Programs: Work on the design, implementation, and refinement of key compensation programs, including job architecture, retention plans, global compensation structures (salary, bonus, equity), and specialized Sales Compensation programs.
Consult and Deliver Solutions: Partner closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide expert consultation and deliver compensation solutions for all talent decisions, including new hire offers, promotions, and internal transfers.
Ensure Data Integrity & Compliance: Conduct pay equity analyses and ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws, while developing core compensation metrics and data tools for accurate reporting.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Economics, Finance, or another field that uses quantitative analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum six years of progressive experience in compensation program management and delivery.
Advanced expertise in Excel modeling and data manipulation to conduct market pricing, budget scenarios, and pay equity analyses.
Strong working knowledge of compensation best practices, regulatory compliance, and proven ability to consult with HR partners on high-stakes compensation decisions.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing deadlines, take ownership of large-scale cyclical projects, and work independently with high attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven, hands-on experience executing the Workday Annual Compensation Review cycle, including configuring Merit Matrices and Bonus calculations.
Superior verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on tact and ability to communicate cross functionally.
Strong ability in analyzing data and to see beyond the numbers to influence decision making.
Ability to self-start and self-direct work in an unstructured environment; comfortable dealing with ambiguity and defining the agenda

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000 - $162,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
