Who we are
At Fortis Games we aspire to make great games that bring people together while redefining how game companies work. We believe in building a sense of belonging through our games, their communities, and how we operate and treat each other. Through our game communities, we will create powerful connections and lasting memories. We will foster a culture of diversity, equity and belonging where together our diverse skills, experiences and backgrounds impact the games we make.
We are an early but mighty organization with a leadership team of game industry veterans. There are many opportunities for you to have a big impact on the products we'll be making as well as the overall direction of the company. If you're passionate about tackling difficult problems with direct and thoughtful communication and team first mentality, we may be the right place for you.

About the Role

At Fortis, we believe that powerful player experiences extend beyond the game itself. As a Senior Capture Artist (Unity), you will play a critical role in bringing our games to life through high-quality gameplay capture and interactive marketing experiences.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role embedded within our marketing and publishing ecosystem. You will work directly in Unity to build capture setups, assemble scenes, and record polished gameplay content that represents our titles at the highest standard.

In addition to capture, you will support the creation of playable ads — translating gameplay mechanics into lightweight, interactive marketing experiences that drive engagement and performance.

This role requires deep Unity expertise, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced production environment.

What you’ll achieve

  • Deliver high-quality gameplay captures directly from Unity for marketing campaigns and publishing initiatives.
  • Build and configure capture-ready scenes by assembling assets, adjusting lighting, and optimizing technical setups.
  • Translate marketing briefs into technically executable capture and playable solutions.
  • Support the production of Unity-based playable ads, including adapting core gameplay loops into interactive prototypes.
  • Increase production efficiency over time by contributing to reusable capture frameworks and asset libraries.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, art, and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment between creative vision and technical execution.
  • Leverage emerging tools, including AI-assisted workflows where appropriate, to improve production speed and output quality.
  • Contribute to iterative improvements in capture and playable processes to enhance overall campaign impact.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Strong hands-on experience working directly in Unity, with demonstrated expertise in gameplay capture.
  • Proven ability to assemble scenes, manipulate assets, and configure environments for polished marketing output.
  • Solid technical foundation in Unity workflows and troubleshooting.
  • Experience creating or supporting playable ads within Unity is a strong plus.
  • Ability to translate creative or marketing needs into technical implementation.
  • Comfortable operating as an independent contributor in a contractor capacity.
  • Open mindset toward leveraging AI tools to enhance production workflows.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally across marketing, art, and technical teams.
  • Experience in mobile game environments or performance marketing pipelines is preferred.

Why join us
There are many reasons to join us, but here are a few:

  • We strongly believe we are changing how games studios operate and at the core of what we do is making great games that create a connected community
  • We're not just about making Games Where You Belong. We're also about building communities where our people belong. That's why Fortis is a thriving environment that celebrates diversity, embraces inclusivity, and fosters growth.
  • Build and grow with a seasoned team of accomplished talent who have left an impactful mark in their disciplines, both in and out of gaming
