What you'll be doing
The role is responsible for conducting in-depth analytics and portfolio monitoring in Real Estate Secured Lending team within Risk Analytics & Credit Decisioning. The role applies advanced knowledge and skills to develop queries and provide insights based on analytical findings to enhance risk management strategies. Key responsibilities include monitoring the trend and performance of various segments of the RESL portfolios, analyzing the impact of credit strategies, supporting the enhancement of risk business intelligence activities and the evolution of risk data processes to reflect industry best practices.

How you'll succeed

Risk Analysis: Prepare comprehensive risk reports of portfolio and credit strategies performance, leverage strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets and analyze information to identify trends and formulate sound conclusions, provide actionable insights that drive informed decision.

Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of accuracy in all analyses and risk reports, ensuring that data integrity and quality are upheld in every deliverable.

Data Management: Support the evolution of data processes by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data, enhancing the overall quality of risk information.

Communication: Convey technical information in clear and understandable terms, both in writing and verbally. Effectively prepare and present data and insights to the senior management team.

Adaptability: Exhibit a proactive approach as a self-starter, demonstrating flexibility in managing multiple priorities and adapting to an evolving environment with shifting requirements. Consistently deliver high-quality results within established timelines.
Who you are

You can demonstrate experience. You have knowledge of credit risk management policies and practices to enable the completion of various analytical assignments. Experience in real estate secured lending and credit risk modeling is an asset.

You have a university degree in Risk Management, Data Analytics, Applied Science/Maths, or a related field.

You have strong analytical skillset: You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. You are proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, SAS). You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
