What you’ll be doing
As a Sr Analyst, Production Application Support for the Enterprise Technology team. You will be accountable for providing daily operational support to GOW Infrastructure, business users, client groups, QA partners and stake holders. You’ll work closely with other technology and business teams as well to ensure appropriate delivery of support services by adhering to CIBC standards and operating procedures.

How you’ll succeed
- Technical Expertise - Must have Technical and Business communication skills to support and resolve Incidents with cross functional teams. Must have analytical thinking to judge the issues and engage all the relevant teams and leads.
- Understanding Requirements - Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Work with internal clients and internal partners to determine, negotiate and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions. Working closely with our AD partners and business partners as well to drive the support, implementation and focusing on automation.
- ITIL Process - Must have a knowledge on ITIL process and should act as a primary point of contact in the assessment of impacts for planned system changes and projects, ensuring compliance with relevant organization standards (Business, Continuity, Security, Compliance, and Privacy); develop and maintain productive relationships with Technology, QA, Project team and others. Research, evaluate and support the development and implementation of new and/or revised policies, procedures and standards. Investigate, research and provide recommendations on issues and system outages.
Who you are
- You can demonstrate experience in: at least 3-4 years of experience support with Linux/Unix, WebLogic, Webserver, Dynatrace, SQL/Oracle, Scheduler tools(like Control-M or Cron or Autosys), ETL Tools (Informatica or Abinitio), Core Java, GIT, Jenkins, Confluence, and Scripting basics. As a Technology Support Analyst, You should be a quick learner to understand the Application flows and integrations with business units. Experience or familiarity with OpenShift and Azure Cloud is preferred.
