What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Analyst, you will join CIBC’s Technology Quality Assurance team under the Finance Technology line of business, where you will develop, schedule, coordinate and execute test procedures of systems and software for multiple projects for system integration.
How You’ll Succeed
- Execute Testing Activities - Analyze, define, and translate business and functional requirements, use cases, designs and specifications into testing requirements. Manage and coordinate end to end testing activities for small and large projects across many teams with both onsite and offshore resources
- Report & Monitor - Report and manage software concerns and test activities throughout the software development lifecycle. Provide status of testing, communicate issues, implement QA standards and policies, and communicate QA schedule.
- Manage & Influence - Direct, motivate, develop and manage performance of the testing team and key staff. Participate in client business review sessions to influence decisions regarding use of technology to support objectives or address issues
Who You Are
- You can demonstrate strong experience in software development testing through 3 - 5 years of experience in data warehouse and ETL testing. You have knowledge and experience using Oracle, TOAD, PL/SQL, Designing Automation scripts using advanced Excel skills.
- It’s an advantage if you have experience in Mainframe, PeopleSoft, SAP, working with Hyperion Essbase (cube testing), JCL scripting on OS/390 systems, Designing Automation scripts using Python, TOSCA, and if you worked with multiple IT platforms and different types of testing.
