Job Description – Specialist, Marketing Strategy (France & Canada) 

The France & Canada Marketing Strategy Specialist owns the go‑to‑market strategy and execution for Pearson Clinical Assessment across Canada and France, ensuring campaigns, messaging, and channel plans are aligned to market priorities, customer needs, and revenue targets. This role is ideal for a marketer who is excited to personally own and drive Canadian and French campaigns end‑to‑end, partnering closely with sales, product, and global clinical marketing to translate global strategy into locally relevant, revenue‑driving marketing programs. The successful candidate must be fluent in French and English and must live in France, UK or Canada to ensure close connection to customers, market dynamics, and regional stakeholders. 

Key Accountabilities 

France & Canada Marketing Ownership & Strategic Campaign Planning (~50%) 

  • Own and deliver France & Canada Clinical Assessment marketing plans aligned to annual revenue, pipeline, and growth objectives. 

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies for priority products and solutions across digital platforms, balancing brand building and demand generation. 

  • Translate market priorities into clear campaign hypotheses, audience segmentation, channel mix, budget allocation, and KPIs for both geographies. 

  • Partner closely with France and Canada sales teams to align campaigns with territory priorities, key accounts, and sales motions. 

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and performance data to inform strategic decisions, optimize investment, and continuously improve results. 

  • Ensure bilingual (French/English) messaging and positioning clearly articulate value for clinicians, educators, and institutional buyers while respecting local regulations, practice models, and procurement realities. 

Creative Execution & Campaign Delivery (35%) 

  • Lead end‑to‑end execution of France‑ and Canada‑focused campaigns, from brief development through launch and post‑campaign analysis. 

  • Drive production of locally relevant campaign assets, including digital and product marketing assets, sales enablement tools, thought leadership and clinical education content, and case studies/success stories. 

  • Utilize Wrike (or similar tools) to manage timelines, resources, and cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring on‑time delivery against regional priorities. 

  • Collaborate with Creative Services, subject matter experts, and external partners to ensure assets are clinically accurate, brand‑aligned, and culturally/linguistically appropriate. 

  • Coordinate localization and translation workflows to ensure quality and consistency across French and English deliverables. 

Stakeholder Partnership & Market Leadership (15%) 

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for Clinical Assessment in France and Canada, acting as a trusted partner to sales, product, and global marketing teams. 

  • Build strong cross‑functional relationships to ensure alignment on priorities, messaging, and launch readiness. 

  • Represent the voice of the local customer and market, bringing insights on competitive dynamics, channel effectiveness, and buyer needs into planning and execution. 

  • Track and communicate campaign performance, sharing learnings and recommendations to continuously improve outcomes across both geographies.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Fluency in French and English (written and spoken) is required. 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in marketing, preferably within healthcare, education, or regulated professional markets. 

  • Demonstrated success delivering integrated marketing campaigns tied to revenue, pipeline, and growth objectives. 

  • Strong experience in digital marketing, campaign development, and content creation/localization. 

  • Proficiency with marketing analytics and CRM platforms (GA4, Tableau, Salesforce preferred). 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience. 

 


Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Canadian law, the pay range for this position is as follows: 

The minimum full-time salary range is between $55,000 - $120,000.
