What to Expect?

Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, this position is responsible for managing the current vendor base for a particular category, as well as looking for alternate vendors both domestically and internationally that will result in significant cost savings, enhanced sales margin, and/or enhanced delivery performance. 

On a daily basis our Sourcing Manager:

  • Continuously reviews assigned category sales and looks for margin, cost or availability issues.

  • Determines categories or items that present improved sourcing opportunities.

  • Identifies suppliers that can supply new items or improve the supply of existing items.

  • Negotiates cost, freight terms and legal conditions with suppliers.

  • Assists in developing specifications on products to be sourced.

  • Analyzes, evaluates and summarizes suppliers' offers.

  • Assists in determining market price for products.

  • Assists in the implementation of new product introductions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline.

  • 5-10 years of general pool product experience desirable.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

  • ISM Certification and/or courses desirable.

  • International sourcing experience preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.

  • Ability to travel on occasion domestically and internationally.
