Your Role: At the Heart of the Chain

Salary Range

$48,125.00 - $60,156.50

.

Core Duties: 

Safety and Compliance 

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment.  

  • Enforce safe working methods and behaviors within the team.  

  • Conduct safety audits and warehouse checks.  

  • Respond to emergencies as required. 

 

Operations management 

  • Supervise sorting, scanning, and processing packages (including defective items and returns).  

  • Ensure sorting operations are completed correctly and efficiently 

  • Oversee shipping, receiving, dispatching, and inventory management. 

  • Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.  

  • Unloading and Loading: Assign labor, unload pallets. 

  • Assist with Sorting, help with sorting packages and envelopes as needed. 

  • Inbound and outbound freight movement Management support,   

  • Confirm and communicate with optimization team on daily bases before start operations 

  • Day-to-Day Monitoring, Track Line Haul operations, communicate with carriers, and monitor FMC for Amazon freight. 

 

Team leadership and monitoring  

  • Mentor and support Package Handlers during the sort process. 

  • Coach and mentor warehouse associates, including training new hires. 

  • Schedule warehouse associates 

  • Evaluate and assess employee performance, workplace conduct and compliance as required, including discipline where appropriate. 

 

Quality control 

  • Conduct quality checkups and sorted freight and inbound and outbound process.  

 

Administration and reporting 

  • Perform data entry as needed.  

  • Complete and Submit Reports 

  • Handle driver credentials, BOL exchange, and secure docking. 

  • cost control 

 

Warehouse Organization & Maintenance 

  • Ensure warehouse cleanliness and organization. 

  • setup sorting layout 

 

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Work Environment: Fast-paced warehouse setting with shift-based schedules.
