The solutions engineer plays a vital role in bridging the gap between client expectations, product capabilities, and implementation. As a Solution Engineer, you are the Solution Owner for the life of the account
You will combine deep technical expertise with executive-level business acumen to design solutions that win business, ensure those solutions are delivered faithfully, align with our product capabilities and roadmap and drive long-term growth. You act as the "Solver" who navigates the technical "How" and the "Influencer" who guides the client to the strategic "Why".
Typical Duties
You are the subject matter expert and provide deep understanding of cloud architecture and system architecture; all Eagle Eye products and capabilities; in addition to keeping up to date on product changes and future roadmap.
Your accountability for the solution spans the full client journey:
1. The Win Phase (Pre-Sales)
Drive the technical discovery, custom demos, and Proof of Concepts (POCs) to secure the technical win.
Collaborate with AEs to complete technical responses (RFI/RFP), ensuring accurate scope definition and package estimation.
Design complex, enterprise-level solutions that align client goals with platform capabilities, identifying and closing any potential "solution gaps" early.
2. The Implementation Phase (Bridging the Gap).
Act as the guardian of the solution during implementation. Ensure the project remains "in the spirit" of what was sold and prevent scope creep.
Support internal and external kickoffs to ensure a seamless handover to Professional Services, translating the vision into actionable use cases.
Consult with delivery teams to solve challenges using the platform's existing capabilities rather than unnecessary custom builds, protecting the Product Roadmap.
3. The Growth Phase (Post-Implementation & Renewal)
Act as an escalation point for solution-related issues post-implementation, tracking adoption to ensure the client derives maximum value over the long term.
Focus on continuous improvement- Identify new opportunities for "Net New ARR" and "Net Revenue Retention" (NRR) by aligning the client's evolving maturity with new platform features and support the AM and CSM in active pursuit of these opportunities.
Provide strategic feedback from the field to the Product team to shape future capabilities.
The successful applicant will be highly technically skilled, innovative, a great communicator with strong levels of emotional intelligence.
