About the Opportunity:

The Solutions Consultant is the backbone of Docebo's pre-sales motion. In this role, you own AE partnerships end-to-end — leading discovery, delivering tailored demos, designing solutions, and driving technical validation through the full sales cycle. You operate independently on standard-to-moderate complexity deals and are expected to bring a consultative, recommendation-led approach to every customer interaction. Beyond deal execution, you contribute to the team through knowledge sharing, peer collaboration, and continuous self-improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Discovery & Solution Design: Lead discovery conversations that uncover not just technical requirements but business goals, change management challenges, stakeholder dynamics, and success criteria. Design solutions that map Docebo's capabilities to the prospect's full project scope.

  • Demo Delivery: Deliver punchy, personalized demos tailored to each prospect's use cases and language — avoiding feature-dumps in favor of storytelling and impact-driven narratives.

  • AE Partnership: Own the SC/AE relationship for your assigned accounts — ensuring alignment on deal strategy, coordinating customer touchpoints, and filling gaps when needed.

  • Solution Validation: Guide prospects through technical validation including trials, proofs of concept, and blueprint reviews with clear success criteria tied to business outcomes.

  • Competitive Positioning: Proactively ask about competitors on every deal, leverage Klue and internal intelligence, and position Docebo's differentiated value against alternatives.

  • Documentation & Deliverables: Produce clean, consistently formatted blueprints, proposals, and customer communications that meet the team's professional quality standards.

  • Team Contribution: Share knowledge in Slack, cover PTO, run mock demos for new hires, review peers' blueprints, and support Associate SC onboarding.

What It Takes to Be Successful:
Excel in this role by combining deep product curiosity with consultative instinct. The best SCs don't just show the product — they understand the customer's world, make confident recommendations, and connect everything back to impact. You should be competitive enough to hold yourself to a high bar on every demo, polished enough to represent Docebo with credibility, and generous enough to invest in your teammates' success alongide your own. Independence and initiative are essential — you own your deals, your development, and your contribution to the team.
Education and Experience:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in pre-sales, solutions consulting, technical consulting, or SaaS sales

  • Industry Preference: Experience in the LMS or learning technology industry strongly preferred; HR Tech experience also valued

  • Deal Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead full sales cycle engagements independently

  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of LMS platforms, learning technologies, or enterprise SaaS; HTML/CSS familiarity a plus

  • Communication: Strong presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills with a polished professional presence

  • Discovery Skills: Proven ability to lead consultative discovery conversations and design tailored solutions

  • Collaboration: Track record of contributing to team success beyond individual deal performance

  • Travel: Required to travel between the U.S. and Canada to support clients and business initiatives
