As a Solutions Architect at RAVL, you'll design secure, scalable systems, contribute to API and infrastructure design, engage with clients, and guide multi-team solution delivery.
RAVL helps technologists accelerate their careers.
At RAVL, we connect strategy with execution, care deeply about the people we work with, and measure success by the lasting impact we leave behind. Our purpose is to build a team that puts real, sustainable business outcomes at the core of everything we do.
We’re here to leave our clients better than we found them, and to create a place where our people are proud to Build. Better.
As a Solutions Architect at RAVL, you’ll design and guide the delivery of end-to-end technical solutions that connect strategy to execution. You’ll bring deep technical breadth, consulting acumen, and a bias for clarity — shaping architectures that are scalable, secure, and practical. You’ll work closely with client stakeholders, engineering teams, and product leaders to translate vision into working systems that deliver visible business value.
What does success look like in this role?
- Architect secure, scalable, and maintainable systems across cloud, application, and integration domains
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design APIs, data flows, and infrastructure aligned with enterprise best practices
- Assess existing architectures, identifying gaps and driving actionable modernization or optimization plans
- Define and document architectural standards, patterns, and decision records for consistency and governance
- Influence solution design through clarity, technical depth, and an understanding of real-world delivery trade-offs
- Engage directly with clients to translate business needs into architectural blueprints and technology roadmaps
- Collaborate with platform, data, and software teams to ensure seamless end-to-end design and implementation
- At higher levels: lead multi-team solution delivery, mentor engineers, and shape technology direction across client engagements
Sounds great, but do my skills fit?
- You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise or large-scale cloud solutions
- Proficiency in modern architecture patterns — microservices, event-driven design, and domain-driven modeling
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and associated native services
- Experience with integration patterns (APIs, messaging, event streaming) and security design (IAM, encryption, RBAC)
- Ability to communicate architectural concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders clearly and credibly
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and observability practices that enable scalable delivery
- Consulting excellence: empathetic communication, outcome focus, and the ability to bring structure to ambiguity
Mindset Traits
- Delivery-first – balances architecture vision with delivery pragmatism
- System thinker – connects business strategy with technical implementation
- Influential – guides teams through clarity, trust, and technical authority
- Collaborative – thrives on co-design and continuous feedback across disciplines
Technical Skills
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (at least two preferred)

- Integration & APIs: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, message queues (Kafka, SQS, Service Bus)
- Infrastructure & Deployment: CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Security & Compliance: IAM, encryption, network security, secure software design principles
Why join RAVL?
- Flexible, client-aligned work model — autonomy with accountability, adapting to client delivery needs
- Variable bonus & RRSP contributions tied to performance and delivery impact
- 4 weeks paid time off (plus public holidays)
- Paid professional development days and continuous learning opportunities
- Comprehensive health & dental coverage, including mental health support
- Commitment to lifelong learning — continuous improvement through training, mentorship, and certification
