Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
  
Responsible for the architecture and design of several critical financial services projects working with the technical teams, client technical and client business stakeholders, and project management. Accountable for the technical delivery of the solution together with teach leads. Solutions will have a focus on enterprise integration, cloud migration, legacy modernization, large number of data sources, microservices, APIs, security, and scalability concerns. The candidate must be able to work as a hands-on architect and a systems integrator pulling a solution together for clients working with a multitude of partners, vendors, consultants, contractors, etc. 
 
Responsibilities
 
Architect cloud solutions in financial services to create products/platforms and client projects in Google (GCP), Amazon (AWS) and Microsoft (Azure). 
Deliver the architecture of transformational projects and developing repeatable patterns and leading practices, designing large-scale data processing systems, and optimizing data pipelines. 
Apply a broad experience of system architectures, application technologies, data architectures, and infrastructures to support specific IT initiatives. 
Develops application architecture vision, strategy, and design direction and provides technology proposals for delivering business capabilities 
Analyzes solutions and technologies and makes recommendations based on knowledge of the customer/organization current and future business needs. 
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendor, partners to keep on track for core technologies initiatives.  
Architectsolutions based on performance, latency and nonfunctional requirements and information security best practices, scalability, high availability, disaster recovery and operational reliability. 
Apply the enterprise architecture and technology governance to our solutions, bring in emerging and innovative technologies to be applied to architecture of our new solutions. 
Document architecture of the solution in words or confluence and write all technical aspects of design and architecture 
Lead the architecture practice at blanc Labs and drive the digital transformation architecture and digital capabilities 
Design the financial services products based on product strategies to achieve an optimal cost-effective technology solution. 
Architectsolutions that hold a large datasets and deal with relational or nonrelational databases, data warehouses and data lakes.


Work Experience Requirements 
 
4+ years solid experience in cloud infrastructure and application architecture in AWS with and good knowledge of Azure and GCP 
12+ years of experience as an application architect 
5 + years of experience in FinTech, Financial Services or Banking is required 
5+ years of hands-on system integration experience in large enterprises 
Hands on experience developing Multi-tenant SaaS platforms, REST APIs, Open API specifications, API Gateway for governance and security (oAuth, Tokenization, Encryption) of microservices. 
Development experience with one or more of Java, .Net, Spring, JavaScript, Node.js, Angular or similar programming languages using containers (DevOps pipeline, Docker /Kubernetes) 
Strong knowledge of Data architecture including; Data Governance, Data Modeling (Data Vault, Dimensional, Normal Form) and database design (RDBMS, NoSQL, Hadoop), Data Classification, Data Integration, Enterprise Data and Metadata Management, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Data Analysis and Data Security 
Ability to drive workshops with customer IT and business groups. 
Leverages the latest technologies when building out APIs such as NoSQL databases, serverless (e.g. AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, GCP) and established software and design patterns. API management solutions (such as Mule or Axway) 
Strong understanding of various enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., Zachman, TOGAF) 
Excellent communication and presentation skills 
Expert in PowerPoints slides, technical documentation and drawing architecture diagrams.
