Capco is seeking an experienced and dynamic Solution Architect to join our Insurance Technology team. The Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing and managing technology solutions that meet our client’s business needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills, building and maintaining lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of client satisfication.

The candidate is self-driven and entrepreneurial, capable of identifying client problem-solving opportunities, coaching team members, designing solutions, leading projects, and acting as a subject matter expert.

About The role

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive and innovative technology solutions that align with client business objectives and requirements.
  • Lead and manage technology projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
  • Provide expert advice to clients, offering strategic guidance and actionable insights to address their business challenges.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in specific technology domains, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements to provide thought leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relatsionships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including participating in business development activities, proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions: including detailed estimation and planning, implementation strategy, technology stack, design patterns and process design best practices.
  • Create and maintain detailed solution architecture documentation, including design specifications, technical requirements, and implementation plans
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, seeking ways to enhance processes, methodologies, and technologies and present discoveries to program leadership and client stakeholders.
  • Actively engage and support Capco technology team members
  • Contribute to Capco’s thought leadership initiatives

About you

Experience 

  • 12+ years’ experience developing overall solution architecture including – Delivery, Application, Services, Integrations, Infrastructure Viewpoints
  • Experience leading technology projects and delivering complex solutions.
  • Previous experience in consulting / professional services is an asset but not required.  However, strong consultative skills with the ability to understand stakeholder needs and provide strategic reccomendations is a must.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Experience with leading and supporting business development activities is an asset.
  • Understand requirements, technical constraints, and defend solution options.
  • Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally and externally with clients.
  • Ability to discuss and strategize technical solutions to optimize technical solutions.
  • Excellent people skills with ability to lead by example and motivate team members
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Ability work in fast pace environment while following best practice and company process
