Experience and Skillset Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
• Extensive Enterprise Architecture Leadership: At least 8 years of experience leading the strategic implementation and architectural design of enterprise-level solutions within complex, distributed environments.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Ecosystem Expertise: Deep hands-on experience architecting and integrating solutions specifically within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O).
• Azure Cloud & Integration Proficiency: Proven expertise in designing end-to-end architectures leveraging Microsoft Azure services (e.g., App Services, Data Factory, Synapse) and establishing robust CI/CD strategies.
• OPS Governance & Strategic Communication: Demonstrated experience navigating Ontario Government Enterprise Architecture processes, including securing approvals from the Architectural Review Board (ARB) and Cyber Security Assessments.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and Finance & Operations (F&O) functionalities, proficiency in the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse), familiarity with D365 development tools (C#, X++, Power FX), and strong understanding of D365 data models.
• Enterprise Architecture & Strategic Design: Proven experience (typically 8+ years) in developing and managing complex technical architectures, expertise in creating design artifacts, ability to define optimal technology stacks for various environments, and experience with structured methodologies for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Cloud, Data, & Integration Acumen: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Azure SQL, Networking, Security Center), experience designing large-scale integrations, proficiency in defining strategic approaches for data warehousing (Azure Synapse Analytics), and understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Governance, Leadership, & Communication: Experience navigating the OPS Architectural Review Board (ARB) and Cyber Security Assessments (Threat Risk Assessments), superior communication skills to translate complex technical challenges, proven ability to gain buy-in from diverse teams, and ability to proactively identify and mitigate architectural risks.
