Job Description:
We are seeking a self-motivated, results focused, team-oriented software engineer intern/Co-op student to work for our Software Quality Assurance team. The internship offered will allow the student to participate in several stages of software development lifecycle and to become familiar with the software development processes used within a software development organization.
The Software Test Specialist will be responsible for validation of our Enterprise UEM Portfolio that includes backend Server and mobile device clients. The position is focused on ensuring we deliver a quality product to our customers. This position entails working on defining and executing test cases, investigating/debugging issues and supporting automation efforts.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Software Test Specialist will be responsible for defining testcases, updating testcases as required and executing end to end test cases to validate the UEM product (OnPrem and Cloud) and UEM Client functionality

Analyzes, debugs logs, inspects database inputs and payloads to help with verifying product functionality and understanding failures

Logs defects for test failures using a defect tracking tool and verify defects when fixed

Inputting test results from test execution in our test case repository

Work closely with QA team, developers, product owners to ensure product functionality is working as expected

Enhance and develop UEM server and UEM Client automated test cases as required leveraging existing automated test frameworks

Enhance and develop test scripts to help support day to day validation
REQUIREMENTS

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution/program in computer related field

Available to work for an 8 Month/12 Month term (September - April/August)

Good understanding of Server OS, Databases, Desktop OS and Mobile OS

Familiarity with automation testing tools & frameworks

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks, learns, and contributes to the team and performs well defined tasks

Self-motivated, ability to take initiative and work well individually and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail
