Department OverviewOur MSI CTO Systems and Solutions team are responsible for developing emerging solutions that span multiple technologies and products. We productize and integrate video solutions, vehicle intelligence, video and audio analytics and sensor systems to solve for a safer community. Our teams bring to life highly innovative end-to-end products, including AI-powered weapons detection, license plate recognition and even a remote drone piloting system. We are also responsible for the creation and continuous development of both Cloud and on-premise software for the MSI portfolio.
Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that MSI produces the highest quality, easiest to use products in the surveillance and security industry 

  • Continually improve the quality of software and hardware products through the creation, execution, and maintenance of comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts 

  • Recruit, manage, train and evaluate the performance of System Test Team personnel

  • Mentor System Test Team personnel to grow their career and develop new skills

  • Drive productivity and efficiency via automation and metrics

  • Responsible for the timely investigation, triage, and replication of reported issues

  • Interact regularly with support, development, and product management teams to solve challenging problems 

  • Develop processes and metrics to ensure System Test Team can ensure high product quality efficiently and productively

Requirements:

  • A Bachelors or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as computer science or engineering

  • A Technical Leadership position that combines technical mastery and people management 

  • Minimum of 13 years of work experience in System Test, Functional Test and Test Automation 

  • A team player with creative and innovative approaches to solving challenges

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and function effectively in a fast-paced environment, providing strong leadership skills and managing multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently 

  • Experienced in working with team members across multiple geographical regions

  • Superior written and verbal communications skills; comfortable at public speaking and presenting to a large audience
