What it’s like to be a Northbridge Software Engineer I

The Software Engineer I is responsible for helping design, develop, maintain, and improve software applications in an IT environment. Software Engineer I's understand, and are responsible for, developing essential skills through work experience and training.

We want your talent

If you are great at:

  • Interface with systems analysts, solution designers, IT architects, and business stakeholders, to understand the business-software engineering requirements.

  • Design, develop, test, and document software engineering solutions within a complex software engineering environment to align technical and business goals.

  • Work with a team of analysts, engineers, management, and business stakeholders to identify software engineering solutions while assessing technical and business suitability, and its impact to the enterprise’s systems.

  • Assist with daily operations and functionality of software engineering solutions and applications.

  • Research, evaluate, and recommend operational procedures and best practices to optimize processes and workflow efficiencies.

If you have:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in specialty.

  • Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred) and/or equivalent on-the-job experience.

  • Familiarity with Application Lifecycle Management.
