Looking for a PAWsome co-op opportunity? The Chewy Campus Recruiting Team is seeking a motivated Software Engineer Co-op for our team in Boston MA, Minneapolis MN, or Bellevue WA! 

 

Co-op Timeframe: June 2, 2025 – December 5, 2025 (must be available for the full duration) 

Qualified Students:Rising Seniors graduating Spring 2026  

  

What You’ll Do  

  • Work in functions that touch our end-to-end customer experience—whether it’s customer order and catalog management, pricing and promotions tools, search and personalization, or operational analytics 
  • Design and build interfaces that integrate every aspect of our business through multi-functional collaboration 
  • Implement simple and balanced code that reflects a deep understanding of Chewy and contributes significantly adds to the success of the team and delivery to our customers 

What You’ll Need  

  • Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science or similar technical field of study, with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026 
  • Extensive experience coding in Java and/or JavaScript (our primary languages) 
  • Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis 
  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required 
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday

The specific hourly range offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.

Pay Range

$30$34 USD
