Department OverviewPremierOne CAD is transforming public safety and emergency dispatch operations by streamlining the capture and real-time distribution of mission critical information for first responders. The PremierOne software engineering team is part of the Motorola Video and Software organization which builds secure, scalable and reliable on-premise and cloud based products to serve worldwide public safety and enterprise markets.
Job Description
Join us as a member of the Forward Deployed Engineering team whose mission is to ensure success for our public safety customers. The successful candidate will join a highly technical team eager to solve complex customer problems by replicating problem scenarios, performing hands-on troubleshooting, performing analysis of software and systems to determine root cause, and developing software solutions. Our team works closely with our customers, our customer support organization and the broader engineering team to improve our PremierOne CAD and Mobile product’s functionality and performance.
Preferred Requirements:

Proficiency developing C#/.NET applications in Visual Studio

Strong understanding of Object Oriented software design, Client-server and Service Oriented Architectures

Experience developing applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server database(s)

Experience writing SQL stored procedures and performing query optimization is a plus.

Experience with UI programming in C#/.NET
-
Strong debugging skills, including an ability to analyze memory dumps a plus
-
Experience developing with Windows Services, WCF and C# multi-threading a plus

Experience with Git
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle priorities and tasks with project follow through.
This position is subject to working in high security areas governed by the US Department of Justice's "Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy" and therefore requires successfully passing a more stringent fingerprint background check administered by Motorola Solutions Inc. customers.
Annual salary range - $63,800 - $127,000
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
