Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer for the Autodesk Data Platform User Profile team. The Autodesk Data Platform User Profile Team enables intuitive and relevant personal relationships for Autodesk users by providing a comprehensive profile. Our Mission is to federate the siloed information from a variety of sources to get a more complete view of actionable user data and harness the power of user data to deliver enhanced personalized experiences by bridging data silos, providing teams with a unified view of users and allowing for effortless content discovery and meaningful interactions that allow users to understand their relationship with Autodesk. You will work closely with Tech Lead, Engineers, Product Managers and Stakeholders to understand current needs and design the systems.
Responsibilities

You will be involved with all aspects of software development, working to create the most reliable, secure, performant, and high throughput services for our customers by using cloud technologies

You will collaborate with software architects, UX designers, product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders to iteratively transform high-level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to consumers incrementally

Design and maintain scalable and efficient APIs and integrating data workflows into APIs

Participate in an on-call rotation to support production services

Enable other feature teams to build upon our foundational solutions

Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of our applications by identifying bottlenecks and bugs and creating solutions to these problems

You will write and maintain code, perform peer code reviews, and drive technical design discussions

Contribute positively and constructively in every meeting, and ensuring your peers feel included in every interaction
Minimum Qualifications
-
2-3+ years of software development experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
-
Proficiency in Node.Js, GraphQL, DynamoDB, Docker
-
Demonstrated working knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
-
Strong practical experience building RESTful web services and microservices with asynchronous workloads and heterogeneous clients

Hands-on experience with relational & non-relational (eg: DynamoDB, Redis) database technologies

Good understanding of cloud service providers and features they offer

Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps
-
Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing conditions as our team iterates on new product and research initiatives

Have an intrinsic desire to learn and fill in missing skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience working in Data Platform Systems and integrating data from various data sources into APIs

Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
