The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that support clinical research operations and data management processes. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, compliant, and efficient solutions that enhance clinical trial execution, ensure data integrity, and improve overall operational effectiveness. All development efforts adhere to regulatory requirements within the clinical research industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage CI/CD tools integration and operations, with full automation of CI/testing leveraging Azure DevOps.
- Develop and automate scalable Continuous Integration pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Actively participate in the design and implementation of systems and tools across the cloud data stack, including Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure DevOps.
- Build dashboards to monitor the health and performance of data pipelines and environments.
- Collaborate with internal development and QA teams to ensure end-to-end quality and reliability.
- Write and maintain infrastructure documentation for clarity and consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues along the CI/CD pipeline.
- Work directly with third-party vendors and infrastructure engineering teams to address and fix issues impacting the DevOps and Data ecosystems.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in cloud computing (preferably Azure).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, automation, and pipeline development.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
