Position Overview:
We're looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test. You will be a part of a growing team and will work closely with the development and product management teams innovating to enhance our existing software and develop new products. You will collaborate closely with Software Developers, Qualiy Assurance Engineers, and DevOps professionals to design and implement automated testing frameworks, create robust test suites, and execute test cases on the Azure Cloud Platform. What you will do:
- Architect, design, and implement automated testing frameworks leveraging industry best practices and tools.
- Develop comprehensive test suites covering various aspects of cloud-based applications, including functional testing, integration testing, performance testing, and scalability testing.
- Execute test cases manually and automatically to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications deployed on public clouds (Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services).
- Work closely with software developers and QA engineers to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure the timely resolution of issues.
- Continuously improve test coverage and quality by identifying gaps in existing test suites and implementing enhancements to address them.
- Monitor test execution results, analyze failures, and work with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve issues promptly.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery on our Cloud Platform.
What you will need:
- Proven experience as a Software Developer in Test (SDiT) or similar role, with a focus on testing cloud-based applications, preferrably on the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform (Typically 5+ years)
- Solid understanding of software development principles and Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in at least one common programming language (C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript) and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS.
- Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Protractor, or similar tools.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing workflows, along with proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Bachelor's or advanced degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience.
- Be fluent in English.
