Job Description
The project is to support integration between MEDITECH Expanse, MEDITECH Client Server, PocketHealth, and the Ministry of Health EMPI system.
The role is for a Senior BizTalk Developer responsible for:
- Designing and developing healthcare integrations
- Implementing interoperability solutions
- Reviewing interface specifications
- Supporting testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and go-live readiness
- Following FHA architecture and DevOps standards
- Working with stakeholders including PMs and Business Analysts
- Maintaining technical documentation and governance processes
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing BizTalk architecture
- Design healthcare integration solutions
- Develop and configure BizTalk components
- Implement interoperability between:
- Meditech Expanse and PocketHealth
- Meditech Client Server and PocketHealth
- PocketHealth and Ministry of Health EMPI
- Conduct testing and QA activities
- Support UAT and production readiness
- Maintain source code repositories
- Produce technical documentation
- Participate in project governance and stakeholder meetings

Requirements
Mandatory Requirements
- Senior Software Developer level experience (minimum 8+ years directly related experience or equivalent education/experience combination)
- Hands-on development experience with Microsoft BizTalk (must have)
- Strong working knowledge of HL7 v2 (mandatory)
- Experience working on large healthcare integration projects
- Hands-on experience with:
