We are looking for a skilled and collaborative Software Developer to join the Pension Communications and Engagement team in Toronto; someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building high-quality digital experiences. In this role, you will:
- Develop and maintain web applications that provide seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
- Collaborate with designers, communication specialists, and other developers to define and implement new processes.
- Ensure applications are optimized for reusability.
- Build and integrate email creatives into digital marketing technology platforms.
- Import and extract data from databases such as Marketing Cloud, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.
- Perform code reviews and conduct QA analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Capture and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- A passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
Would be at an advantage with:
- Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Working knowledge of SSJS and AMPscript.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud knowledge.
