We are looking for a skilled and collaborative Software Developer to join the Pension Communications and Engagement team in Toronto; someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building high-quality digital experiences. Our team is committed to leveraging innovative marketing technologies to enhance engagement and efficiency. We foster a culture of continuous learning, open communication and collaboration. In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain web applications that provide seamless user experiences.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with designers, communication specialists, and other developers to define and implement new processes.
  • Ensure applications are optimized for reusability.
  • Build and integrate email creatives into digital marketing technology platforms.  
  • Import and extract data from databases such as Marketing Cloud, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.
  • Perform code reviews and conduct QA analysis to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Capture and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • A passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
     

Would be at an advantage with:

  • Experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of SSJS and AMPscript.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud knowledge.
