As our QA Specialist, you will drive 80% of manual testing efforts while leveraging automation tools for thorough quality assurance. You will write SNAP applications using a combination of SNAP IDE, Blockly, and JavaScript to test new features and bug fixes. Previous web application development experience is required.

What You’ll Do
-
Manual testing while optimizing with automation tools: Lead testing activities within a dynamic team that support multiple projects.

Develop Test Strategies: Design, develop and document application test strategies, test plans and test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications for all SOTI’s product offerings

Establish and Maintain Robust Test Coverage: Create, implement and maintain test coverage for SOTI’s Web and Mobile applications

Define Testing Methodologies: Work with Product Managers and Scrum Masters to define the project's testing methodology and manage the test execution for small to large sized projects

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with project teams composed of staff drawn from various IT, business units and 3rd party resource providers

Automation Implementation: Plan and strategize adoption and implementation of automation in the team

Process Optimization: Follow the overall QA process improvements to ensure consistency and standardization across product lines

Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership to the team members about testing strategies and planning

Tool Administration: Contribute to configuring, maintaining, and/or administering testing tools or environments

Customer Issue Resolution: Reviews, Analyze and troubleshoot customer’s issues, identify gaps in existing testcases, suggest improvements and convert customer issues to test cases

Mentorship and Support: Mentor and support junior QA staff in the development of their skills and assist them with the QA process and practice
Experience You'll Bring:
-
Hands-on experience with automation tools as well as manual testing to bolster testing efficiency and effectiveness.

3+ years of experience with REST API testing and web front-end testing
Very important for us:
-
Familiarity with HTTP requests and response model
-
Experience with tools like POSTMAN for HTTP testing
-
Experience with integration tests with Active Directory, Identity Providers and LDAP
-
Good knowledge of Wireless Networking, Active Sync, Certificate Services, LDAP Services & Network Access Control.

Good knowledge of Cloud environment setups and various IP classes and differences between Public and Private IP.
Nice to have:

Working experience with automation tools - Selenium, Appium
-
Experience with low-code, no no-code application development environment

Understanding of at least one enterprise-level mobile device management application such as Enterprise Mobility Suite (EMS) / XenMobile/ Mobile Iron/AirWatch/SOTI.

Knowledge of MDM applications for targeted platforms (Android, iOS, and Windows).

Strong technical background, with a keen understanding of QA procedures and methodology

Experience in functional, integration, system, security, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing using manual or automated testing techniques, preferably using exploratory testing methodology.
