Site Reliability Engineer

Looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our dynamic team. As an SRE, you will help ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems. You will work with development and operations teams to build and maintain robust infrastructure, automate processes, and improve overall system health.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to Mgr., Site Reliability Engineering and DevOps

Your Moneris Career - What you'll do

• Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and availability of our systems and services.

• Develop and implement automation tools to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on users.

• Participate in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to avoid future incidents.

• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure.

• Continuously improve system reliability through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.

• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.

• Document processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency.

Your Moneris Career - What you bring

• 2+ years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or similar role.

• Proficiency with Dynamics 365, CRM, and Finance and Operations (F&O).

• Experience with Power Automate and Azure cloud services.

• Familiarity with GitHub for version control and collaboration - Knowledge of .NET framework and MS SQL Database management.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms), and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with networking, security, and system administration.

• Salesforce and MuleSoft experience (considered an asset)

• Experience with Linux operating systems (considered an asset)

• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).

• Familiarity with database management and optimization.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

• Experience building and maintaining code in Java, JavaScript, and React.
