This Position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead FWT, installation, commissioning, testing, and handover activities on-site, acting as the single point of contact for the customer. Each day, you will manage on-site presence throughout the project, ensuring coordination and smooth execution of all work activities. You will also showcase your expertise by planning, scheduling, and coordinating service resources based on guidelines.
You are highly skilled in installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting methodologies for critical power systems and enjoy working within the data center, healthcare, industrial, and mission-critical infrastructure markets.
The work model for the role is: Remote (On the Jobsite)
This role is contributing to the Critical Power in Canada.
Responsibilities:
All on-site activities and for acting as the interface to customer and/or third-party installation and commissioning team.
Applying safety rules and safe practices, as well as environmental responsibilities during all service activities.
Performing installations, maintenance, and repairs on equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Leading Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities at customer sites and reporting unsafe practices and incidents to ensure a safe working environment.
Leading all discussions and meetings on-site, proposing appropriate resolutions to customer's concerns while ensuring ABB guidelines, team objectives, and sales goals are met.
Setting up and maintaining a service desk and evaluating its efficiency.
Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally, in alignment with the Service Quality Manager to maintain good customer relationships and ensures repeat customers.
Qualification:
5 years + in a service organization with site management experience
Proven experience in electrical power systems, specifically in UPS systems, Static Transfer Switches (STS), power distribution units (PDU), battery systems, and related low- and medium-voltage infrastructure. Experience working as a Site Lead, Commissioning Engineer, or Senior Field Service Engineer is strongly preferred.
You possess advanced knowledge of commissioning processes including system integration testing, and final handover procedures. You are highly adept in troubleshooting tools, diagnostic software, electrical test equipment, and Microsoft Office reporting platforms.
interpreting single-line diagrams, protection schemes, control logic, and technical documentation.
You demonstrate strong leadership and customer-facing capabilities, with the ability to lead on-site meetings, resolve technical concerns professionally, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams. You are passionate about safety leadership, accountability, and delivering a high-quality customer experience.
Engineer or Certified Electrical Technologist with Electrician certification, with proven experience,
