Become an Outcoder as a Application Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled SharePoint Online Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in managing SharePoint Online environments, migrating content from network drives, and working with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem. The role requires advanced skills in automation, security configuration, and site management, with an emphasis on optimizing SharePoint for efficiency, security, and user engagement.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Proven experience in SharePoint Online administration and document migration from traditional network drives.
- Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and bulk operations.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure (DNS, Active Directory, firewalls, load balancing) and how it interacts with SharePoint.
- Experience configuring and managing backup and restore processes, with knowledge of third-party backup solutions.
- Expertise in designing logical site structures using libraries, lists, content types, and metadata.
- In-depth knowledge of permissions, user roles, and security configurations in SharePoint.
- Skills in SharePoint Search configuration to optimize content retrieval
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with third-party SharePoint management tools.
- Experience with compliance and governance standards related to document management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on improving user experience
