About the role:

We are looking for a skilled and enterprising ServiceNow Developer to join our team supporting our ServiceNow platform. Our implementation of the ServiceNow platform is rapidly growing both within IT and across the greater business. We are expanding our use of the platform to automate tasks and expand self-service tools for our end users as well as improving governance and control of key systems. 

  • The successful candidate will be a skilled and self-motivated ServiceNow developer able to demonstrate strong collaboration skills with both fellow team members as well as stakeholders. 

  • Work closely with the Service Delivery and Infrastructure leadership to improve End-User Experience and gain greater ROI

  • Administration of a ServiceNow instance including the management of users, groups, and roles, CMS Development, ACLs, business rules, Workflow Designer, UI actions, UI policies, dictionary, and catalog items

  • Implementation of the ServiceNow platform as part of the Global IT team

  • You enjoy problem solving, being presented with challenges and acquiring the new skills and knowledge required to solve them using best practices and leveraging out of the box capabilities whenever possible.

  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate and document effectively.

What you bring:

  • 4+ years' experience with full SDLC responsibilities, implementing systems using the Agile/Scrum methodology and developing on the ServiceNow platform

  • Fluent in JavaScript skills

  • Experience with ServiceNow deployments utilizing xml, update sets and Application Repository

  • Strong familiarity with supporting the IT Service Management module (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog)

  • ServiceNow Developer Certifications in Application Development

  • Experience with custom applications and App Engine

  • ITIL Foundations Certification (v4 or higher)

Approximate Salary Range for Role: $93,500 to $101,000 CAD.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all Canada locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
