As a ServiceNow Lead, you will play a crucial role in delivering best-in-class solutions by developing solutions on the ServiceNow platform and implementing the ServiceNow platform for our clients. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams as a ServiceNow technical expert to help clients tailor the ServiceNow platform to their needs and maximize the value of their investment in ServiceNow. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, a detailed problem solver and designer of technical solutions, a mentor to less experienced developers and well-versed in database management, coding and APIs. They are excited about how technology and AI can be used to automate work and willing to dive in and learn from and contribute to an elite ServiceNow practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of ServiceNow solutions and custom applications for smaller engagements.
- Develop complex solutions, including custom user interfaces, workspaces, dashboards and integrations.
- Provide input on technical architecture, standards and best practices for ServiceNow development across projects using advanced tools such as UI Builder.
- Lead the development team and the client in best practice unit and system integration testing; serve as the escalation point for solutioning in defect remediation.
- Lead the development and review of documentation on behalf of the team. Serve as the point person for client technical questions regarding the solutions built in ServiceNow.
- Configure and manage reusable platform capabilities and templates for junior developers to use, such as flows in Flow Designer, example scripts and workspaces to provide a best practice foundation for development efforts.
- Document complex deployment plans and manage the activities of both RSM and client development teams to coordinate successful releases.
- Serve as the escalation point and decision maker for deployment warnings and errors.
- Advise clients on best practices for managing a ServiceNow instance such as clone schedules and parameters, security recommendations and development best practices.
- Develop and present technical proofs-of-concept and customized demonstrations for pre-sales opportunities.
- Mentor and coach intermediate and junior developers as a technical lead, fostering their technical growth and career progression.
- Stay up to date with the latest ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow in a fast-paced environment focused on client delivery, or 7 years of equivalent experience working in a technical capacity on an enterprise level ServiceNow instance stack.
- Desired Certifications: ITIL Foundations v4, Certified System Adminstrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), at least 2 current Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications.
Education:
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Optional certifications: Architectural Excellence (ArchX), Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $103,500 - $176,000Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
