The Senior Sequencing Sales Specialist will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and market share within the assigned territory. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills and deep product knowledge to deliver exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can influence key decision-makers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with Company objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and decision-makers.
- Deliver compelling product presentations and technical information to support adoption.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends to inform strategy.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
Experience/Education:
- Typically requires 5+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or 3+ years of experience with a master's degree.
- Typically requires experience in the life sciences industry, preferably in genomics and DNA sequencing technologies.
- Typically requires a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving market share growth.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Willingness to travel within the territory, as required.
The estimated base salary range for the Senior Sequencing Sales Specialist role based in Canada is: $90,000 - $125,000. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. No AI will be used to screen, assess, or select applicants. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
