Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SEO Manager to join our SEU Marketing team in Malta.
Working across France, Spain and Portugal, you will need to be an SEO all-rounder, capable of working independently and leading both the strategy and delivery of the SEO roadmap. We’re looking for someone highly proactive, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ensuring SEO is visible and prioritised across the business.

You will regularly liaise with developers, product teams and content teams to ensure that SEO recommendations are fully implemented. You will also collaborate with agencies and hold responsibility for the performance of the SEU SEO function.

Competence with key SEO tools such as GSC, Semrush and Ahrefs is essential. You should also be comfortable working with crawling tools such as Screaming Frog and Deepcrawl to identify and resolve common SEO issues. Knowledge of HTML and CSS is advantageous, along with a solid understanding of JavaScript implementation as it relates to SEO and crawlability.

You will be confident in performing on-site optimisation, developing technical SEO recommendations and carrying out keyword research. Strong Excel and presentation skills are required, and you should enjoy collaborating with a wide range of specialists including editors, agencies, SEO experts and developers.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven years’ experience managing an SEO function across multiple websites and a passion for the channel

  • Experience conducting SEO audits and producing roadmaps and SEO strategies

  • Competency in key SEO tools such as Semrush and Google Search Console

  • Experience in regulated industries and international markets (beneficial)

  • Proactive mindset and ability to work independently

  • Experience in performance tracking, analytics and reporting
