WHAT WILL YOU DO
- Work closely with the Managing Editor and Senior Editor to ensure the editorial team produces high-quality, timely, and accurate content that aligns with our editorial vision
- Contribute to shaping the editorial direction, ensuring the content is data-driven, engaging, and addresses emerging trends in global finance
- Provide editorial guidance and mentorship to a team of investment journalists, ensuring content meets editorial standards and is both accessible and informative for readers
- Review and edit articles on complex investment topics, ensuring they are fact-checked, clearly written, and engaging for a diverse readership
- Collaborate with other departments, such as design, and marketing, to enhance the content’s reach and engagement
- Stay informed about the latest developments in finance and investment, providing strategic insights to shape the publication’s coverage
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE
- A degree in journalism, finance, economics, political science or a related field.
- 5+ years of editorial experience, preferably in investment or financial journalism
- A deep understanding of global investment trends, including stocks, cryptocurrencies, economic indicators, and market movements
- Strong editorial judgment, with the ability to refine content for clarity, accuracy, and engagement
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English
- Critical thinking skills, with the ability to produce analytical, data-driven contentExperience working in a fast-paced newsroom environment is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A proactive, goal-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and a passion for investment journalism
