This Position Involves:
• Researching and writing editorial content, primarily feature length reports, based on first person interviews and data supplied by research team
• Ensuring that content is fresh, original, interesting, relevant, SEO compliant and timely
• Meeting editorial deadlines and dealing with international time zones, as the role requires writing content for a range of Key Media publications in different territories
• Conducting video and phone interviews with thought leaders on a weekly basis
• Generating new ideas to develop the product’s reputation as a premium source of information while developing and improving existing features
• Promoting and adhering to Key Media editorial policies
• Establishing/expanding, maintaining and improving relationships with industry leaders
• Helping the products to fulfil their commercial objectives
• Maintaining good working relationships with staff who work on other Key Media publications and events
• Some flexibility with working hours may be needed to accomodate working across different global time zones
To succeed in this role, you will be an experienced and talented writer a conversational writing style and an interest in business journalism.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $65,000 CAD per year, depending on skills and experience, plus additional group benefits.
