Role Description
The People Technology team at Dropbox is dedicated to enhancing the employee journey through efficient processes and smart systems. We are seeking a Senior Workday Analyst to be our subject matter expert in Workday modules—specifically Time Tracking & Absence, Talent & Performance, and Compensation. You’ll take the lead on cross-functional enhancement projects, provide insights as our data expert, and represent Workday as we implement and integrate with other best-in-class tools. Responsibilities
- Optimize Workday HCM capabilities, focusing on Time Tracking & Absence, Talent & Performance, Compensation through process improvement, configuration, testing, training, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (People Operations, Compensation, Benefits, L&OD) to understand and improve business processes, providing Workday solutions that drive efficiency.
- Design and maintain Workday reporting & analytics, producing custom dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses to support internal teams and leadership decisions.
- Support integrations and implementations as a Workday SME, ensuring seamless data flow between Workday and other People technologies.
- Build strategies to sunset legacy systems and manage data migration while adhering to data privacy and retention policies.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process efficiency and system improvements, adopting a product-driven mindset to optimize Workday's functionality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Workday analyst or administrator, with hands-on configuration experience in Time Tracking & Absence, Talent & Performance, and Compensation. Experience in implementations is a plus.
- Workday training or equivalent experience in HCM fundamentals, Business Process Configuration, Report Writing (advanced/matrix/composite reports), dashboards, EIBs, and related Workday features.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), with a strong customer service focus and the ability to build relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical and collaborative problem-solving approach with the ability to understand not just the "what" but the "why" behind requests, showcasing empathy for business needs.
- Experience presenting data and ideas effectively across various audiences, from technical teams to executives.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience preferred; Workday certification is a plus.
- Product-driven mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and driving process efficiency in People technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with full Workday project lifecycle management, from planning to change management and adoption.
- Enthusiasm for process improvement and a proactive approach to data integrity and exploring Workday’s evolving features.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing business needs while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in leading or mentoring Workday teams to foster development and drive collaboration.

Canada Pay Range
$96,900—$131,100 CAD
