Company Overview

Deepgram is the leading platform underpinning the emerging trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and building production-grade voice agents at scale. More than 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations build voice offerings that are ‘Powered by Deepgram’, including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. Deepgram’s voice-native foundation models are accessed through cloud APIs or as self-hosted and on-premises software, with unmatched accuracy, low latency, and cost efficiency. Backed by a recent Series C led by leading global investors and strategic partners, Deepgram has processed over 50,000 years of audio and transcribed more than 1 trillion words. There is no organization in the world that understands voice better than Deepgram.

Company Operating Rhythm

At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance.

Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.

Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.

Opportunity

Deepgram is looking for a Senior Website Manager to own Deepgram.com as a product and growth engine — not just operate it.

This is a senior individual contributor role responsible for how our website performs as our primary acquisition channel and first impression across developers, startups, and enterprise buyers. You will define what gets built, why it matters, and how it drives conversion.

You will act as the decision-maker across UX, experimentation, and technical execution — partnering with design, engineering, and marketing, but ultimately owning prioritization and outcomes.

You’ll also play a key role in evolving and modernizing the website experience as the company scales — improving structure, messaging, and conversion across multiple audiences.

What You’ll DoOwn the Website as a Product
  • Define and evolve the website roadmap based on business goals, user behavior, and performance data

  • Own prioritization across all inbound requests, making tradeoffs based on impact (not volume or stakeholder pressure)

  • Act as the accountable owner of Deepgram.com performance

Drive Execution Across Teams
  • Lead execution across design, engineering, and external partners to deliver high-quality web experiences

  • Translate business needs into clear requirements and ensure timely, high-quality delivery

  • Operate with urgency while maintaining a high bar for quality and user experience

Improve Conversion & User Journeys
  • Identify friction points across key journeys (e.g., product → demo, developer → playground)

  • Design and run experiments (A/B tests, landing page optimizations) to improve conversion rates

  • Use data to continuously refine messaging, structure, and user flows

Establish Governance & Scale
  • Build and enforce scalable processes for website updates, QA, and release management

  • Ensure site quality across performance, accessibility, mobile responsiveness, and consistency

  • Reduce “by committee” decision-making and create clear ownership and accountability

Leverage Data to Drive Decisions
  • Analyze traffic, behavior, and conversion data (GA4, Heap, etc.) to inform prioritization

  • Define success metrics and track improvements across key journeys

  • Partner with growth and SEO teams to ensure the site supports broader acquisition strategy

Who You AreWebsite Ownership & Accountability
  • You have owned a website or a significant portion of it, with clear responsibility for prioritization, execution, and performance outcomes

  • You’ve been accountable for outcomes, not just contributions to a portion of the site

  • You’ve made tradeoffs across competing stakeholder needs and business priorities

Product-Minded Operator
  • You think about the website as a product and growth lever, not just a marketing asset

  • You are comfortable defining what should (and should not) get built

  • You bring strong judgment and can operate independently with minimal oversight

Technically Fluent
  • You have hands-on experience with modern CMS platforms (headless preferred: Sanity, Contentful, etc.)

  • You understand how websites are built (HTML/CSS basics, APIs, frontend/backend interactions)

  • You can effectively partner with engineers and translate technical constraints into decisions

Data-Driven & Experimentation-Oriented
  • You are comfortable using analytics tools (GA4, Heap, etc.) to identify insights and opportunities

  • You have experience running or supporting A/B testing and conversion optimization

  • You use data to inform decisions, not just validate them

High Ownership, Low Ego
  • You thrive in environments with ambiguity and limited structure

  • You are comfortable operating as the primary owner of a critical function

  • You are highly detail-oriented and hold a high bar for quality

It’s a Strong Plus If You Have
  • Experience with developer-focused products or technical audiences

  • Experience with headless CMS platforms (Sanity preferred)

  • Experience replatforming or redesigning a website

  • Familiarity with SEO and site structure best practices

What Success Looks Like
  • 30 days: Audit site, establish prioritization framework, identify key opportunities

  • 90 days: Launch consistent experimentation and improve key user journeys

  • 6–12 months: Deliver measurable improvements in conversion and lead a significant evolution of the website experience

Benefits & Perks*

Holistic health
  • Medical, dental, vision benefits

  • Annual wellness stipend

  • Mental health support

  • Life, STD, LTD Income Insurance Plans

Work/life blend
  • Unlimited PTO

  • Generous paid parental leave

  • Flexible schedule

  • 12 Paid US company holidays

  • Quarterly personal productivity stipend

  • One-time stipend for home office upgrades

  • 401(k) plan with company match

  • Participation in talks and conferences

*For candidates outside of the US, we use an Employer of Record model in many countries, which means benefits are administered locally and governed by country-specific regulations. Because of this, benefits will differ by region — in some cases international employees receive benefits US employees do not, and vice versa. As we scale, we will continue to evaluate where we can create more alignment, but a 1:1 global benefits structure is not always legally or operationally possible.

Backed by prominent investors including Y Combinator, Madrona, Tiger Global, Wing VC and NVIDIA, Deepgram has raised over $215M in total funding. If you're looking to work on cutting-edge technology and make a significant impact in the AI industry, we'd love to hear from you!

Deepgram is an equal opportunity employer. We want all voices and perspectives represented in our workforce. We are a curious bunch focused on collaboration and doing the right thing. We put our customers first, grow together and move quickly. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, marital status, veteran status, disability status, pregnancy, parental status, genetic information, political affiliation, or any other status protected by the laws or regulations in the locations where we operate.

We are happy to provide accommodations for applicants who need them.
