We’re excited to invite talented and motivated Web Engineers to join our team to help expand Robinhood’s web experience for our customers. Our Web Engineers work closely with designers and mobile and backend engineers to deliver high-impact features as members of multidisciplinary product teams.
Sherwood is focused on creating the best in class news experience in the RH trading app. As a member of the Sherwood team you will help deliver actionable, accessible financial news to retail traders at any point in their investing journey.
What you’ll do
- Create high-quality, performant products that leverage technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS
- Own and drive features from inception and design to implementation and launch, being the web expert on your team
- Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company
- Collaborate with design and product experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products
- Build frameworks and abstractions to materially accelerate and empower other developers
- 5+ years of full-time professional experience with modern Web standards, technologies, and frameworks
- Skilled at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments
- Obsessed with building a best-in-class developer experience
- Have a track record of successfully leading projects and delivering large scope technical projects at scale
- Constantly setting a high standard for code quality, advocating for best practices in testing, and improving code review processes

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
