As the VP - Engineering you will be responsible for leading Maropost’s global engineering organization, driving the development and delivery of high-quality software products that meet current and future customer needs. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will define the technical vision, build and scale high-performing engineering teams, and ensure strong alignment with product and customer success.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

  • Define and execute the global engineering strategy aligned with company goals and product roadmap.
  • Provide technical direction and leadership across all engineering teams and disciplines.
  • Collaborate closely with Product and Executive Leadership to align technical vision with business priorities.
  • Act as a senior technical advisor to the executive team.
  • Lead, scale, and mentor a high-performing, globally distributed engineering organization.
  • Own the delivery and ongoing evolution of the infrastructure powering Maropost’s unified commerce platform.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor team performance and product delivery.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Support to understand technical challenges and address root causes proactively.
  • Champion the integration of AI and machine learning across Maropost’s product suite to drive automation, personalization, and smarter decision-making.

What You’ll Bring to Maropost:

  • 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive or SVP/VP role in high-growth B2B SaaS, ecommerce, or retail environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
  • Demonstrated success leading engineering organizations within high-growth SaaS companies (B2B and B2C), operating in multi-product environments with $80M+ in annual revenue.
  • A customer first mentality combined with the ability to develop successful teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in incorporating AI and machine learning solutions into software platforms to improve automation, enable personalized experiences, and boost overall product intelligence.
  • Excellent analytical skills combined with a keen focus on details and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory environments (e.g. GDPR).
  • Experience with M&A integration and managing global teams across time zones.
