ResponsibilitiesWhat you'll do...
The primary responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
- Lead user-centered design efforts using UX best practices, accessibility standards, and design thinking methodologies.
- Create and refine wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Advocate for the end user while balancing business and technical constraints.
- Conduct usability reviews and incorporate user and stakeholder feedback.
- Contribute to and maintain design systems, UI standards, and style guides.
- Develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
- Translate UX designs into clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
- Integrate front-end components with backend services via REST APIs.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and promote front-end best practices.
- Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers across the product lifecycle.
- Mentor junior developers and designers.
- Clearly communicate design rationale and technical decisions.
- Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative delivery.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or a related discipline. (Note: Successful candidates will be required to provide proof of degree completion for the highest level of education attained. If the degree was obtained from a school outside of Canada, an Education Credential Assessment report showing Canadian equivalency is also required.)
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX development or front-end engineering.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Understanding of UX principles, usability, and accessibility.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Experience
- Experience with UX research and usability testing
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms and APIs
The expected annual salary range for this position is $87,000.00 - $137,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
