Job Description:

This role is responsible for a variety of challenging tasks to support the Group Underwriting team. You work independently, as well as in close partnership with the Underwriting team, to prepare materials required to complete a high volume of assignments in a deadline driven environment. There is a heavy organizational component to the role and the successful candidate will need to be a self-starter. Teamwork and flexibility to shift priorities are strong drivers in the success of this position.
What will you do?
Process standard employee data and follows up to obtain complete listing and/or specific missing information.
Prepare standard renewal information for underwriters by requesting all relevant reports and required information to start the renewal process.
Input employee data for standard cases 10+ lives into an excel format and saves to the database.
Provide batch reports monthly for the renewal process and on an adhoc basis as requested by underwriting staff
Receive information regarding new providers and changes to addresses, phone numbers, unique identification numbers of existing providers.
Set up new providers on appropriate system and makes updates to existing provider information.
Manage Department mailbox
Advise underwriters on administrative work within 24 hours of receipt when required to do so due to active RFP’s existing (items such as terminations, PSSC changes, Agent of Record changes, revisions .etc)

Advanced PC knowledge including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and willingness to learn other software packages or tools

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
