Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior UI Engineer to drive the development of high-quality user interfaces. This role requires technical expertise in Unreal Engine 5 UI frameworks, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor fellow UI engineers while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities

Design, implement, and optimize UI systems using C++, UMG, and Slate.

Architect scalable UI frameworks that integrate seamlessly with gameplay and backend services.

Enhance UI performance and memory efficiency, ensuring smooth interaction and rendering.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to other UI engineers, fostering best practices.

Collaborate closely with designers and artists to translate UX concepts into interactive and immersive UI elements.
Nice-to-Have Skills
-
Experience with Noesis, Scaleform, or other UI middleware.

Knowledge of motion design, shader-based UI effects, or procedural UI animations.

Familiarity with backend integration for UI systems (Live Ops, telemetry, analytics-driven UI updates).
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in UI engineering for games.

Expertise in C++ and Blueprint scripting within Unreal Engine 4/5.

Deep understanding of UMG, Slate, and Common UI frameworks.

Experience shipping at least one AAA console or PC game as a UI engineer.

Knowledge of UI rendering, localization, and platform certification requirements (TCR/TRC).
