Join Sangoma, a leader in business communications, as a Senior UI Designer! We are looking for a Senior UI Designer to join our growing Product & Digital Experience team. This role will be instrumental in shaping the visual and interaction design across Sangoma’s unified product ecosystem, including desktop and web apps, mobile experiences, and our admin panels. Sangoma is dedicated to empowering businesses with essential communications through our innovative Unified Communications, UCaaS, CCaaS, VoIP, and Hybrid solutions, improving connectivity and streamlining communication for organizations of all sizes.
As a Senior UI Designer, you’ll turn complex workflows into elegant, intuitive interfaces that balance brand consistency, accessibility, and user delight. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to bring our design vision to life across multiple products and devices.
Your Role:
- Lead the creation and refinement of high-fidelity user interface designs across Sangoma’s suite of products and web applications.
- Translate wireframes, user flows, and prototypes into pixel-perfect, production-ready designs.
- Maintain and evolve Sangoma’s design system, ensuring consistent usage of components, color, typography, and layout across all digital properties.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Developers to ensure seamless design hand-off and accurate implementation.
- Contribute to user testing sessions by designing interactive prototypes and incorporating feedback into design iterations.
- Partner with marketing and brand teams to align product visuals with Sangoma’s global brand identity.
- Advocate for design excellence and accessibility standards across teams.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to continuous improvement in design processes and tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in UI or Product Design, ideally in SaaS, telecommunications, or B2B software environments.
- Strong portfolio showcasing clean, modern interface design for web and mobile applications.
- Expertise in Figma (preferred), Sketch, or similar design tools.
- Strong understanding of responsive design, component-based systems, and accessibility (WCAG) standards.
- Experience collaborating in Agile or cross-functional product teams.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React) is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present design rationale to stakeholders.
