What you'll be doing

You’ll be joining CIBC’s Wealth Management Technology (WMT) team. As a Senior Test Coordinator, you’ll be leading all aspects of testing for WMT Salesforce CRM application. You’ll be creating test plans, providing estimates, assigning and overseeing execution of test cases while also being hands on with testing. You’ll also be working closely with upstream and downstream systems along with our ETL team to perform E2E tests.

How you'll succeed

  • Testing expertise – Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases. Design and manage end-to-end testing activities for various projects across the wealth line of business. Use your expertise in software development testing to provide clients with quality products that meet business and system requirements.

  • Leadership skills – Provide advice to your team, including ongoing feedback, support, and mentorship. Proactively identify any potential issues throughout all test phases and suggest possible improvements or enhancements.

  • Project coordination – Identify obstacles or risks that may impact a project’s timeline or success and provide regular status updates to the business. Keep the lines of communication open with stakeholders and escalate issues when necessary. Ensure that all test deliverables are received, approved, and aligned to your project’s timeline, budget and goals.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience of at least 7-8 years of software testing experience and software process improvement. You have experience in planning and implementing test automation solutions (preferably in TOSCA). It’s an asset if you have experience writing and executing SQL queries and have software development experience in Python.
