As a Toronto based Senior Technical Talent Partner at EvenUp, you’ll be driving strategic talent searches for a market-leading start-up that truly makes a difference in people’s lives when they are at their most vulnerable. We have a lot of building to do, but we are starting from a very early-stage approach. You’ll help us bring in world class talent across our Engineering, Product and Design teams, while being a strategic partner to the hiring managers you work with. We want to talk to you if you are interested in having a high degree of ownership and impact while running full cycle searches in an environment with constant change.
What you’ll do:
Own end to end talent acquisition for requisitions across Engineering, Product and Design.
Be a consultative business partner to hiring managers, department heads, and executives, helping to improve our people strategy.
Source, screen, offer and close candidates for hard to fill positions.
Be a role model for others on the team and help to up-level recruiting across the org through your commitment to high quality assessment, alignment and acquisition strategies.
What we look for:
Experience working in a startup environment with high degrees of ambiguity
Mastery of technical recruiting fundamentals including subject matter expertise, competencies-based interviewing and structured hiring
Highly collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach
Tech-savvy and ability to quickly pick up new processes and software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sense of ownership and urgency around your work and the outcomes of our hiring processes
