Job Summary

The Senior Technical Project Manager (STPM) is responsible for planning, executing, communicating, and delivering security projects on time, within scope, and on budget. This role will help ensure security OKRs, key initiatives, and risk assessments that span across business units are achieved in a predictable way.
The STPM will collaborate across functional teams such as IT, DevOps, and Software Engineering; will also work across business units to effectively deliver technical projects and positive outcomes. Additionally, the STPM will help mature our risk assessment process and program. The STPM will deliver concise, data driven updates across the organization ensuring all stakeholders have clear understanding of status.
What You’ll Do As A STPM
- Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Technical Understanding: Translate technical requirements into actionable project plans and understand how system dependencies affect project outcomes.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify risks early, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues to minimize project impact.
- Resource Management: Coordinate internal resources along with cross business unit teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates, reports, and presentations to leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Quality and Delivery Assurance: Ensure technical deliverables meet defined requirements, compliance, and performance standards.
- Process Improvement: Drive consistency in project management practices and identify opportunities to optimize delivery efficiency.
What You Will Bring As A STPM
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience managing technical or Security projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Brings a can-do attitude each day with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
- Ability to connect and build positive relationships across diverse teams and business units.
- Experience with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project, Trello)
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Familiarity with modern development practices (CI/CD, DevOps, cloud platforms)
- PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification (e.g., CSM, SAFe).
- Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
- Familiarity with Security frameworks (e.g., CIS, ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2).
- Proven experience working with US based business teams.
- Excellent written and communication skills in English language.
- Ability to work within core US business hours / time zone expectations - Eastern Standard Time (PST) overlap
- Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload

What You Will Get As A Porch Group Team Member
Pay Range*: 1,575,000 - 2,205,000 INR Annually
