About the Role: 

As a Senior Technical Consultant at TD SYNNEX, you will be the primary technical interface for our products, solutions, and services. You will perform a variety of product and technical support functions, including research and resolution of pre-sales technical and process-related issues. Your role is crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and driving our technical excellence.

What You'll Do:

  • Pre-Sales Technical Support: Provide resolution for all technical and process-related issues, escalating when necessary.

  • Customer Consultation: Work with customers and the technology group to clarify and resolve problems and evaluate operational and performance requirements.

  • Pre-Sales Design and Development: Consult with customers on the design, development, and maintenance of products and services.

  • Sales Support: Assist sales channels, field teams, and customers with pre-sales technical solutions.

  • Knowledge Transfer: Responsible for transferring advanced technical theory to target audiences.

  • Clear Communication: Communicate complex information and ideas clearly, concisely, and persuasively to target audiences.

  • Continuous Learning: Participate in training for products, solutions, or services to maintain technical knowledge, active certification, and competence.

  • Feasibility Assessment: Assist in determining the feasibility of proposals, conferring with customers and the technology group to clarify and resolve problems.

  • Operational Support: Provide operational support as needed.

  • Product Support and Certification: Support and certify products, ensuring they meet technical standards.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: 10+ years with a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and directly related experience.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

  • Technical Sales: Experience with technical and advanced solutions sales preferred.

  • Product Support: Experience with product support and certification of IBM hardware and software.

  • Technical Expertise: Apply advanced knowledge of technical standards, principles, and concepts.

  • Problem Solving: Solve highly complex and unusually challenging technical problems.
