Provide hands-on, part-time technical support for migrating a legacy SAP E-Commerce (NetWeaver AS Java, ERP backend) store to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Set up NetWeaver Development Studio, assist transition planning and execution, migrate and archive data, support SAP integration, decommission legacy solution, maintain and troubleshoot the existing platform, and create/update technical and process documentation. Remote contract role.

MGIS is currently looking for a part-time ERP Technical Analyst to support a critical e-commerce platform migration. Our client currently runs a legacy SAP E-Commerce solution (SAP E-Commerce 7.54 on NetWeaver AS Java 7.5, ERP-Backend 6.0 EHP8) as their corporate online store. With extended paid support for the current ECO module ending soon, the organization is transitioning to a new e-commerce platform built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. This is a contract engagement providing hands-on technical support throughout that transition.
What You'll Do
- Set up NetWeaver Development Studio and document the setup process
- Assist in planning and executing the transition from the legacy SAP E-Commerce platform to the new Microsoft Dynamics 365 e-commerce solution
- Migrate and archive data as required
- Support analysis of system and data integration with SAP
- Plan and execute the decommissioning of the current e-commerce solution
- Maintain the existing platform and resolve issues as they arise
- Create and update process and configuration documentation related to the transition and the legacy platform
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with SAP E-Commerce (ECO) solutions and NetWeaver AS Java environments
- Experience with SAP ERP-Backend (ECC/EHP) configuration and support
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, particularly e-commerce implementations, is a strong asset
- Experience with system and data integration, and data migration/archiving projects
- Strong technical documentation skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time contract capacity
- Fluent in English
