Hi, I’m Jason Hughes, and I’m part of Jane’s Talent Acquisition team focused on hiring for Product Management and Development. Our job is to bring in the builders who help Jane help the helpers - the folks creating the tools clinics rely on every day.

We’re looking to hire a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team. You’ll bring a sourcing-first mindset, proactively finding and engaging great people before roles even open. Partnering closely with hiring managers, you’ll help define what great looks like, shape efficient and thoughtful processes, and deliver candidate experiences that reflect Jane’s values and pace of growth.

You’ll need to be comfortable navigating ambiguity, able to figure things out when the path isn’t clear, and thrive in the uncomfortable. You bring high agency, work at pace, and stay focused on achieving meaningful outcomes.

You can find me here: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jasonmhughes8/

What Impact We’re Looking for You to Make
  • Increase top-of-funnel momentum by proactively sourcing strong technical talent and turning outreach into real, qualified conversations.

  • Conduct high-quality interviews and helping us move candidates through early stages with clarity, speed, and good judgment.

  • Create an excellent candidate experience through clear communication and timely follow-ups at all stages of the hiring process.

  • Bring order to ambiguity by spotting where process is slowing us down, proposing improvements, and experimenting (including with AI tools) to help us work smarter.

  • Aligning tightly with hiring managers on what “great” looks like for their open positions and consistently delivering candidates who match both the role needs and Jane’s values.

What Experience We Need
  • Five or more years experience in full-cycle technical recruiting or technical sourcing experience (in-house, agency, or a mix)

  • Strong technical fluency - you can confidently evaluate profiles, talk through common stacks, and build credibility with engineers inside Jane and those applying

  • Proven ability to proactively source, engage, and nurture passive talent, not just manage inbound applicants.

  • Confidence running structured screens, guiding candidates through early-stage conversations, and making clear, well-reasoned recommendations to hiring teams.

  • Comfort working in modern recruiting systems and tooling (ATS/CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, automation, AI-assisted workflows), with a practical, improvement-minded approach.

If you don’t meet every single qualification but are excited about this role, we’d still love to hear from you.

More About Jane

Jane is a founder-led, high-growth SaaS company born in North Vancouver, British Columbia. We’re now a team of more than 700 people working remotely across Canada, the US, and the UK, united by our mission to help the helpers.

We build the products and tools that thousands of clinics rely on every day to run their businesses, care for their patients, and grow their communities. That level of impact means every person at Jane plays an important role in how we show up for our customers. We’re all responsible for being deeply connected to their needs, obsessed with improving their experience, and proud of the difference our work makes in their day-to-day lives.

Jane is growing fast, and that growth brings exciting challenges that call for adaptability, resilience, learning agility, and humility. We’re proud of what we’ve built and quick to admit what we don’t know yet. We listen, learn, and adjust as we go.

We’re also embracing the possibilities of AI, using it to work smarter, improve our systems, and create even better experiences for our customers and our team.

Our goal isn’t just delivery, it’s delight. We move quickly, communicate openly, and solve real problems together. If you’re energized by ambiguity, motivated by impact, and eager to learn with others, you’ll thrive at Jane.

Compensation

At Jane, we’re committed to paying fairly, clearly, and for growth. This is a temporary employee agreement, and while the role is fixed-term, you’ll still receive our full employee benefits.

The salary range for this role is $89,600 to $140,000, reflecting the full growth journey from developing early skills to achieving excellence. Most new hires join at the Accomplished stage, which for this role is $112,800
