The Role

Founding product engineer working at the intersection of engineering, design, and filmmaking. Shape how people create films with AI. Work directly with founders on product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design and build product features end-to-end across frontend and backend systems

• Rapidly prototype and iterate on new creative workflows with tight feedback loops

• Work closely with founders on product direction, UX decisions, and feature prioritization

• Translate ambiguous ideas into intuitive, high-quality user experiences

• Continuously refine interaction details, polish, and usability

• Help define the future of AI-native creative tools

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience

• Strong full-stack engineering skills (React, TypeScript, backend frameworks)

• Exceptional product sense and attention to UX details

• Experience building creative tools with ability to become an expert in creative technology in AI video production

• Strong intuition for creating simple, powerful, and delightful products

• Startup mindset: high ownership, high agency, high velocity

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

• Love for films and art

• Personal creative background (filmmaker, video editor, animator, designer, or similar)

• Experience in AI video generation

• Founder experience

• Open-source contributions and coding outside of regular work

Compensation

• $100,000 – $200,000 / year + 0.10% – 1.00% equity

• Visa sponsorship available
